Rodney Libraries Manager and eLGAR Board member Beverly Fletcher has been appointed to the role of Senior Strategic Advisor - Partnering at Rodney District Council.
Beverly has been with Rodney District Council since 2000, when she joined as Manager of Libraries. For the past year, she has been on secondment to the role of Senior Strategic Advisor – Partnering and now she has taken up this position permanently.
In this role, Beverly will initiate, build and maintain RDC’s strategic relationships with public and private sector agencies and organisations. A key part of her position is to lead the Council’s understanding about the benefits of partnering. In this capacity, she will work right across the organisation to identify new partnering opportunities to help us achieve the best long-term outcomes for our district and region.
From the beginning of the Smarter Systems Project Beverly presented strong leadership and commitment for Rodney Libraries to the eLGAR collaboration. The Board and Programme Office would like to thank her for her contribution and dedication to libraries and wish her well for the future.
Vicki Clarke (Acting Libraries Manager) and Kris Wehipeihana (Rodney Libraries representative on the eLGAR Board) will carry on in their seconded roles until a new Libraries Manager is appointed.
